Broad Spectrum VS Full Spectrum CBD
You may be wondering what’s the difference between broad spectrum CBD and full spectrum CBD. Broad spectrum means there are trace amounts of other cannabinoids in the product, except it is THC free. These trace cannabinoids may include CBG, CBN, CBC, or CBDv. Full spectrum CBD products also may contain these cannabinoids, but notably will it also contain trace amounts of THC. When all of these cannabinoids work together, it produces the entourage effect. The entourage effect means all of the cannabinoids work together to produce a more therapeutic effect in the body. If you have concerns about drug testing, consider trying our CBD with no THC products.

How Much THC Is In Full Spectrum CBD?
According to the 2018 Farm Bill, which legalized hemp, any product containing hemp derived THC must be less than 0.3% THC by dry weight. This amount of THC is generally considered a low enough amount that won’t produce psychoactive effects, commonly known as a “high”. Our full spectrum CBD tincture contains less than 0.3% THC per regulations and is consistently tested for potency by 3rd party laboratories.

Does Full Spectrum CBD Make You Hungry?
There are a few studies that suggest CBD suppresses appetite, but what about full spectrum CBD that contains trace amounts of THC? It depends on your individual experience and can vary from person to person. Our endocannabinoid system can help with our metabolism and regulate appetite. There has been very little research that suggests full spectrum CBD oil decreases or increases appetite. Some people who are sensitive to THC may experience a stimulated appetite after consuming full spectrum CBD oil. While others may have a suppressed appetite.
When starting a full spectrum CBD oil regime, it’s best to start low and slow until you know how your body receives the benefits of CBD. When taking full spectrum oil every day, it’s best to use the same dosage for a few days and then increase the dose as needed. Using full spectrum CBD oil this way can help you determine if your appetite increases or decreases after usage. Other factors like method of consumption can play a role in how CBD affects your appetite. There are a couple of different ways to use our full spectrum CBD oil tinctures. One option is to take the CBD oil sublingually under the tongue for 30-60 seconds. This method absorbs the fastest in the body. Our full spectrum oil is water soluble so you can add it to your favorite food or add a dropper to your morning coffee. This method of consumption takes a little longer to absorb because your body needs to digest it.
