Description
Larger Animals, Smaller Doses
We typically see customers who have multiple pets or larger dogs using the Active Pet CBD Oil 900 mg Chicken Tincture which contains 15 mg per dropper full. For smaller to medium sized dogs we typically see using the 300 mg Chicken Tincture that contains 10 mg of CBD per dropper full. In comparison, the Active CBD Oil Dog Treats contain 5 mg per treat. Some even share that they like to put drops of CBD oil onto the CBD dog treat to make both products last longer while giving their pet a higher dose of CBD.
Most people will start their pets with lower doses and gradually increase as needed. For more chronic conditions people share they see the best results giving their pet CBD oil in morning and evening or around their pet’s feeding schedule. For some situations pets may only need to be given to their CBD Oil as needed, such as calming them down during a thunderstorm or fireworks. Everyone receives CBD differently so it is worth experimenting with what might work best for your pet.
How to Use CBD for Your Pet
This tincture can be added directly to your dog’s food or can be given orally. For humans, it is best to apply directly under your tongue and wait for 30-60 seconds before swallowing for best absorption. For dogs, their blood vessels are highly concentrated on their cheeks rather than under their tongue. For best absorption, you place the oil on the inside of their cheeks or use the dropper to place directly into their mouth.
Ingredients: MCT Oil, Hemp-Derived CBD, and Natural Flavoring.
